7 November 2019 / School of the Arts Drama Theatre
Three friends have their values tested when asked to put together an all-inclusive concert for a school project.
On 7 November, we were proud to work with The Business Times for the third edition of Sunburst, The Business Times fundraising show in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) and the School of the Arts Endowment Fund (SOTA EF). Presented by CapitaLand Hope Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand, this year’s performance entitled “The Ramp” brought us on a journey on what it means to be inclusive. Produced by Global Cultural Alliance with Jeremiah Choy as artistic director, the show raised $275,000 in aid of School of the Arts Student Endowment Fund and Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore). The 90-min show was graced by Minister of State, Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Sam Tan.
We were also grateful to work with Roll-A-Ramp to increase the accessibility of the SOTA Drama Theatre to wheelchair-users! The show could not have been possible without the generosity of many sponsors and donors.
