Launched in 2006 and a brand of The RICE Company Ltd, Spotlight Singapore is Singapore’s premier cultural diplomacy platform that serves as a gateway to emerging and growth-leading markets for Singapore.
Spotlight Singapore in Vietnam celebrates 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of strategic partnership between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Singapore. The event brings together young entrepreneurs and youth from both countries through a 7-day programme in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to build a shared future together.
The Spotlight Singapore in Vietnam covers 3 tracks:
Track 1: Young Entrepreneurs — Business
7-day programme for Singapore young entrepreneurs to:
1 Immerse in the two cities’ rich culture and history
2 Engage in business and networking opportunities with like-minded counterparts
3 Experience esprit de corps among fellow entrepreneurs looking to internationalise

Track 2: Youth — Sports
Sportsmanship in Futsal and E-sports friendly matches to build ties between Singapore and Vietnam youths. The tournaments will be held in Ho Chi Minh City.

Track 3: Creative Talents — Arts & Culture
Performances and collaborations to build understanding and appreciation of one another’s rich culture and heritage:
1 Opening Performance in Vietnam National Academy of Music – Titled ‘In the Crossroads of My Window’, the performance will feature an extraordinary collaboration between talented musicians and visual artists from both countries that combines orchestral splendour with a captivating soundscape, lights, and visuals.
2 Flash Mob at Nguyen Hue Walking Street – Curated performances by Singapore youth dancers to engage the Vietnamese public.
3 Performances at e-Sports Friendly – Specially choreographed dance performances accompanied by a young DJ to energise the audience.
