Organised by GCA, Urban Culture Asia is a series of expeditions within Asia for creatives and entrepreneurs with an eye on discovering the emerging trends in the region’s creative and lifestyle sector. Delegates gain first-hand perspectives on the country’s culture as they explore opportunities and key engines of growth in the city’s creative spaces and build friendships with counterparts who impact the creative industries through a series of networking opportunities, exchanges and site visits.  


This edition of Urban Culture Asia saw a delegation of over 80 entrepreneurs from Singapore and Malaysia, from various industries, gather to further enhance cross-border culture and business relationships. Supported by property and community developer Hatten, this initiative seeks to accelerate a digitisation journey towards a more sustainable digital future together, and act as a catalyst for new business collaborations and economic activities within the Melaka Waterfront Economic Zone.
