A Singaporean having worked with Japan, US, Indonesia and Singapore MNCs to accumulate over 40 years of senior management experience in 12 different countries in Asia, including Australia and the Middle East Region.
During those years with MNCs, he actively led various new joint ventures from negotiation to launch stage, product development & specification design to fit local market requirements, supply chain coordination (known as logistics then) for cost & performance optimisation, and regional coordination works on product launch as well as senior management training programs for the ASEAN region.
Since 2012, he has been actively involved in agribusiness/agritech and successfully facilitated the establishment of Singapore Shizuoka AgriFood Forum to promote R&D, AgriTech and enterprise collaborations with specific focus in urban farming – both aquaculture and urban farming.
In volunteer activities, he is a member of Advisory Board of National Youth Achievement Award Council (NYAA), Steering committee member of ASEAN Japan Meeting Group, Director, Agri BioScience Knowledge Centre LIMITED (NPO) for small scale farmers, Director, Sekoi Sdn Bhd (Singapore – Ipoh start-up hub initiative).
Since 2021, by partnering institute of higher learning and research centres in Singapore, BASE has been serving as the platform to help raise awareness on opportunities and challenges related to low carbon economy, as well as to promote collaborations based on the Research, Innovation, and Enterprise model.
He is a life time member of Japan University Graduates Singapore Association (JUGAS).

Ms. Bui Kim Thuy currently serves as the Commercial Director of FiinRatings, a domestic credit rating agency licensed by the Ministry of Finance, which holds the largest market share in the industry today. Before joining FiinRatings, Ms. Thuy worked as Advisor at US-ASEAN Business Council where she collaborated with nearly 180 US businesses operating in the Southeast Asian market, facilitated the trade and investments between US and ASEAN. Previously, she worked as Deputy Head of Trade Finance and then Performance Management Deapartment at BIDV. Ms. Thuy holds a master’s degree in finance and banking from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom via Chevening Scholarship Program.

Goh Keng Phang assumed post as Counsellor (Economic) at the Embassy of Singapore in Hanoi in September 2023.
Prior to this, Keng Phang worked on ASEAN regional economic integration and Singapore’s bilateral economic relationships with the South Asia, Middle East and Africa at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). In these roles, he was involved in the negotiations and implementation of trade agreements as well as economic cooperation platforms.
From 2016 to 2019, Keng Phang headed Enterprise Singapore’s office in Mumbai where he assisted Singapore companies to enter and expand their business in the Indian market.

Amy joined SBF in 2019 to help Singapore SMEs internationalise to Vietnam. To assist the SMEs in expanding their presence in Vietnam, a comprehensive advisory approach is given particularly on Vietnam market landscape, connecting SMEs to potential Vietnamese business partners and vendors, and offering solutions to issues. Efforts are also made to connect SMEs with relevant networks such as local trade associations, business chambers and government agencies which can help facilitate valuable connections and partnerships.

Regional Director (Thailand & Vietnam), International Operations, Singapore Economic Development Board
Ms Tey Hui Jie is the Regional Director for Southeast Asia at the Singapore Economic Development Board (“EDB”). She leads EDB’s engagements in both Thailand and Vietnam and set up EDB’s first Thailand office in Bangkok in March 2022.
EDB is the lead government agency that plans and implements strategies to enhance Singapore’s position as a global business centre. Together with her team, Ms Tey is responsible for establishing new relationships and advancing existing partnerships with companies from Southeast Asia, to develop and accelerate their plans for growth and internationalisation through Singapore.
Prior to her appointment as Regional Director for Southeast Asia, Ms Tey assumed various responsibilities in the Advanced Manufacturing Strategy Group and the Technology Hardware & Equipment Accounts Group in EDB, where she led industry development and promotion activities to grow Singapore’s manufacturing sector and build a new robotics cluster for Singapore.

Tuyet Vu is Innovation Advisor to the Minister of Planning and Investment. She is deeply engaged in the Vietnam entrepreneurship ecosystem from various roles as an advisor, an investor, and an entrepreneur herself in more than a decade. In her professional history, she was a founding member and former Principal of the Boston Consulting Group in the Vietnam office. She also gained experience in the tech industry working for Lazada as Chief of Staff to CEO.
Tuyet travels across the globe to learn about technology and innovation. She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a B.Eng in Environmental Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Jason Bay is Director in the Group Chief Operating Officer’s office at Sea Limited, where he advances the Group’s interest in its regional markets.
Prior to joining the private sector, Jason was a Singapore public servant, where he played a role in digital economy industry development and regulation, and in personal data protection policy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jason led the overall strategy, design and delivery of over 50 citizen-centric digital products, and was also creator of TraceTogether, the world’s first national Bluetooth contact tracing system.
Jason graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees.

Mr Jason Bay
Director, Group COO’s Office, Sea Limited
Jason Bay is Director in the Group Chief Operating Officer’s office at Sea Limited, where he advances the Group’s interest in its regional markets.
Prior to joining the private sector, Jason was a Singapore public servant, where he played a role in digital economy industry development and regulation, and in personal data protection policy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jason led the overall strategy, design and delivery of over 50 citizen-centric digital products, and was also creator of TraceTogether, the world’s first national Bluetooth contact tracing system.
Jason graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees.
Mr Edwin Chee
Chief Operating Officer, SLP (Vietnam)
Edwin Chee is currently the COO of SLP and serves as a member of the board of management of the company.
With over 20 years of work experience in Logistics, Transportation, Industrial Real Estate, and Urban Development, Edwin has held leadership positions at reputable companies such as Sembcorp, VSIP, Singapore Post, and DHL.
Before joining SLP, Edwin has amassed more than 12 years of experience in the Vietnam market where he was responsible for company’s strategic growth and development plans as well as day-to-day management of business activities including marketing, commercial leasing, construction activities, facilities management as well as P&L accountability.
